COVID-19 update

Based on advice received from NSW Health, Burger Centre has made the difficult yet necessary decision to close all Centre-based programs to clients for 14 days from Friday 31st July 2020 to Friday 14th August inclusive.

We wish to reassure you this is a precautionary measure and that there are currently no cases of COVID-19 among clients or staff.

For more information, please read this update.

Burger Centre is here to support you through this period of unprecedented times. Burger Centre staff are now offering virtual support through phone calls and use of other streaming and video platforms where possible.

We will continue to update our website with information on activities you can do at home, links to webinars and other information relating to COVID-19 and will upload our latest newsletter.

Burger Centre offers a diverse range of activities for older people to continue to feel connected with the community with a strong sense of purpose and fulfilment.

Programs include social support to stimulate, motivate and encourage social interaction with a focus on enablement, wellness and independence.

Positive ageing is a key focus. We hold physical activities including Hydro-cise, Strength and Balance, Tai Chi and Mindful Meditation.

We are situated in Randwick, and have a fleet of buses to support access to our centre. Burger Centre is a joint partnership between Montefiore Home and Jewish Care and is supported by JCA and Commonwealth Home Support Funding.
