Get Involved

Situated on the grounds of Montefiore in Randwick, the campus is a thriving connected community thanks to our volunteers, residents, clients and employees of Burger Centre, JewishCare and Montefiore.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Burger Centre volunteers are an integral part of our community. They help us to extend our range of services and create meaningful connections with our employees and clients alike. Many of our volunteers are emigrants themselves who speak different languages and bring their rich cultural background to our Centre to enhance our client’s experiences. Your volunteer commitment can be once a week, once a fortnight or once a month.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE

  • Bringing clients to and from the Centre in your own car.
  • Being part of the activity program and spending time with clients. We are always looking for volunteers to support our outings, assist with our Music and Memories, Dance-Wise and Cycling Without Age programs, board games, card players and art specialists.
  • Intergenerational program volunteers – can be in school/uni term or holidays.

We are always looking for more volunteers! To explore the opportunities please email us at info@burgercentre.com.au
